SUPPORT NETWORKS
‘FIND A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO CHALLENGE AND INSPIRE YOU, SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH THEM, AND IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER.’
↳ AMY POEHLER
A support network is the team of people you have ‘in your corner’.
This might include friends and relatives. It also might include a support service, like headspace, or a coach or mentor. Some people you might see every week; others maybe just occasionally.
Each of our support networks will look a little different. Don’t think so much about the number of people in it; think about the needs you have. Who helps you laugh? Who helps you problem-solve? Who listens well? Who do you want on your team?
TOP TIP ↴
People in our support network can meet different needs. It's ok to have a friend you just like to laugh with and another one you feel safe opening up with. Both can be important.
Over time, you can build the network you want.
HERE ARE SOME STEPS TO GET YOU STARTED ↴

Who do you feel safe with?

Who is cheering you on?

Who can help with the load?
